The kids aren’t wearing the exact same clothes of course, but they are in a similar set of clothing from before. It was a pink dress on philipa and a plaid shirt with cargo shorts on james. They are in the same area as from when he left. What are the chances that they wear the same type of clothes from when Cobb left and when he returned.
As for the top totem, it was not Cobb’s totem in the first place. It was his wife’s. How do we know if the top is trustworthy of telling whether or not it is a dream. To me, it seems Cobb is still dreaming.
